breezy

beautiful day - bit breezy though. had a couple of good phone calls today. this afternoon i chatted with jamie arpin-rici (emergentvoyageurs.blog.com). a couple of weeks ago we had both vented on resonate about some discouraging stuff we were going through. so i thought it would be good to touch base with him - and it was good.

also tonight chatted w. warren. he said that i'm starting to sound like milton from office space (see above). this is due to the fact that i am getting kicked out of my office - i'm moving in w. josh the youth pastor. pretty soon i'll be at a desk in the parking lot.

anyways - started sermon today - reconciliation - now there's a biggie. should be good.

It was indeed good to chat (and funny enough, I have had the work stapler in my house for a month and NO ONE HAS NOTICED! LOL).

Are you tied to the neighbourhood for an office? If not, I have some ideas.

Peace,
Jamie

i'm not necessarily tied to the neigborhood for an office. what i really need is a quiet space for 2days/week where i can write my sermons with no interruptions.
form home i can access e-mail and make calls, and also print anything i need. sometimes when meeting with people they need privacy, so a private office is helpful. but i have also had people talk about recent suicide attempts over coffee at a starbucks.

what are your ideas?

also - i am with you on the mclaren book. it looked more promising then it actually was.

So, I checked out the building we wanted. Not only are they asking double what it is worth, they have trashed the interior. Unless someone has $400,000 for us, we aren't even going there. Alas!
